Terms

• What you write stays yours.
• Exy drafts. You decide what gets posted.
• Membership is monthly. Cancel any time.
• No sexually explicit content, and no using Exy to harm, deceive, or spam.
• Exy is in beta and will change as we build it with you.

Exy is in private beta. Access is by invitation, and features will change as we learn from members. We'll tell you before making changes that affect how you use it.

You must be at least 18 to use Exy. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens on your account.

Invitations are personal. A founding invitation and its price apply only to the email address it was sent to. Members get a link to invite up to three people, who join at the standard price.

Membership is $49 a month, billed monthly. Founding members pay $29 a month for their first three months, then $49. There's no free trial, and you'll see the renewal price before you pay.

The founding price is offered once. Cancelling and rejoining doesn't restart it. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on where you are.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record for your membership. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's Buyer Terms, and Creem sends your receipts.

Cancel any time from Billing in Settings. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.

When paid access ends, scheduled posts won't publish and routines won't run. Your drafts and memory are kept, so you can pick up where you left off if you rejoin.

Every membership includes generous limits on AI usage and publishing. If you reach one, Exy will tell you when it resets. There are never overage charges.

Your stories, drafts, and posts are yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide Exy to you: to remember, draft, and publish on your behalf.

Only send Exy photos and material you have the right to use.

Exy publishes or schedules a post only when you ask it to. You're responsible for what's posted to your X account and for following X's rules.

Drafts are written by AI and can be wrong. Exy asks rather than invents, but please check facts, numbers, and quotes before anything goes out.

Publishing depends on X. If X is unavailable, rejects a post, or your connection needs renewing, the post may not go out on time. Exy tries to let you know, but a notice sent to iMessage or Telegram can fail to arrive, so you can always check a post's status in the Calendar.

X, iMessage, and Telegram have their own terms, and your use of them through Exy is subject to those too. iMessage access depends on available capacity, and you can always use Exy on the web.

Your use of Exy must follow our Acceptable use policy, which is part of these terms.

Exy may not be used to create sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content, and Exy is built to refuse those requests. Any content that sexualizes minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the authorities.

Don't use Exy to impersonate anyone, mislead, spam, harass, promote hate or violence, or break the law. Don't try to get around Exy's content limits, access other accounts, disrupt the service, or resell it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

You can leave whenever you like by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where we can. If we ever shut Exy down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice.

Exy is a beta and is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

We'll email you about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Using Exy after that means you accept them.
